Project Recruit is excited to announce its partnership with a boutique law firm in Garden City, NY, offering a promising opportunity for a Estate Litigation Attorney. This firm is distinguished for its deep expertise in trusts and estates litigation as well as its commitment to a harmonious work-life balance and community engagement. The firm provides a supportive, collaborative environment with a hybrid work schedule and no weekend work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide clients through complex estate and trust administration and litigation, providing expert legal advice and support in a range of related matters.
• Handle estate and trust litigation cases in Surrogates, Civil, and Supreme court, including contested accounting and wrongful death proceedings.
• Provide counsel in intestate and probate administration, and representation or removal of fiduciaries.
• Advise on elder law/Medicaid planning and protect beneficiary rights in kinship proceedings.

Requirements:

• JD from an accredited law school and admission to the New York State Bar.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in estate and trust litigation (Surrogates, Civil, and Supreme litigation experience required).
• Trial experience is a plus!
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• High academic achievements with a record of excellence in legal education.
