Local family is seeking an Estate Manager/Personal Assistant to act as central point of contact for all household-related matters, ensuring an efficient and comfortable living environment for the family.

Responsibilities include handling the logistical and administrative aspects of running a home.

1. Maintaining private residence

  • Coordinating repairs and ongoing maintenance of the property.
  • Managing relationships with contractors and vendors, ensuring quality work and timely completion.
  • Overseeing preventative maintenance for systems like HVAC, plumbing, and security.
  • Overseeing surveillance and security systems and ensuring the overall safety of the household and its occupants.

2. Household Operations:

  • Maintaining household inventory, managing supplies, and handling procurement.
  • Organizing and managing household logistics, including travel arrangements and event planning.
  • Handling day-to-day tasks such as errands, grocery shopping, and dry cleaning.
  • Light cooking and packing lunches

3. Other Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with managing transportation, food, and clothing on the property in a separate apartment for adult, special needs member of the family. No physical assistance will be required.
  • Managing correspondence, including mail and packages.
  • Handling special projects or requests from the homeowner, as needed.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive household matters.

The ideal candidate will be a mature professional who is organized, driven, pleasant, and understands the importance of maintaining the family's privacy.

  • Experience in hospitality preferred or experience managing an active household.
  • The ability to organize and prioritize tasks, adapt to changing schedules, unexpected situations, and the specific needs of the household.
  • The ability to anticipate needs, troubleshoot issues and make sound decisions.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with insurance.
