Private Residence seeks an experienced Household Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of their estate. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Complete oversight of household; ensuring consistency of standards, procedures and servicesProject management; includes liaising with architects, designers, overseeing the families barn and stables, outside vendors and contractorsMaintaining household calendars; scheduling household services and providing prior notification to principalsCreating household manuals; overseeing hiring, training and supervision of any additional household staffActing as point of contact and gatekeeper for principalsFinancial management includes bill payments, budgets, reporting, working with a family officeOverseeing facilities and maintenance work, both indoor and outdoorMaintaining multiple fleets of vehicles (cars, watercrafts, etc.)Coordinating detailed travel arrangements; includes transportation, entertainment, activities, etc.Handling any special requests, related duties or errandsOrganizing, managing and providing administrative support for special projects and eventsCoordinating schedules and activities; includes scheduling appointments, etc.Family Assistant duties would include greeting guests, liaising with vendors and contractors, assisting with scheduling, light home administrative work, assisting with phone and e-mail correspondence, assisting with event planning and execution, etc.This is a full-time position. Salary is generous but DOE.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience managing private residencesOutstanding references from both current and previous employersAbility to work independently as well as with a team, “hands on” as necessaryUnderstands that the utmost in confidentiality and discretion is requiredStrong analytic, interpersonal, and management skillsA superb command of the English language, both written and oralHigh level of proficiency with computer equipment including MAC and iPhone, and the Microsoft Office suiteFlexible scheduling with availability to work overtime and weekends as neededExperience or understanding of the equestrian community and stables is a plusValid driver's license with clean driving recordUS work authorization#J-18808-Ljbffr
