**Essential Duties and Responsibilities** include the following.

* Ensure adherence to governmental regulations (DOT, OSHA) and company policies and procedures

* Participate in cross-functional projects to improve company performance

* Perform line work as required to meet production demands and simple assembly with basic hand tools

* Maintain a clean work environment and all applicable equipment

* Assist in the achievement of departmental and company goals

* Complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned

* Other duties may be assigned

**Supervisory Responsibilities** This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

**Education** High school diploma or general education degree (GED) **Required Skills**

* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

* Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

* Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization

* Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

* Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs

* Work a flexible shift as needed

* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

* Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations

**Preferred Skills**

* Ability to train/manage/lead/understand LEAN or CI activities and initiatives

**Required Experience**

* Computer literate

**Preferred Experience**

* Three years of Production Line experience

* Forklift training with both sit down and standup lifts
