ERP (Finance) Implementation Consultant – Remote (U.S. Travel) – Full TimeSkills–ERP, ERP Implementation, Finance, ERP Finance, Finance Process, Consulting, Hands On, Software Implementation, Customer EngagementMy client who is a leading ERP Software Solutions provider is currently looking to on board an experienced Finance ERP Implementation consultant.The selected consultant will be the product andfinance processexpert, leading design discussionsfocused on core accounting and financial operations, guiding clients on best practices, performing software configuration, providing training to customers, supporting issues, and more.A proven background within ERP implementations alongside a strong Finance focus is required.This role will allow individuals to be based anywhere within the U.S. You can expect travel to customer sites throughout the U.S. in the region of 20-30%. Due to industry requirements, U.S. Citizens or Green Card holders are encouraged to apply.The Role:

• Act as the subject matter expert for financial modules duringtheimplementation lifecycle, including scoping, configuration, testing, and go-live support
• Lead workshops to gather requirements andassistin defining a blueprint and project plan, with a focus on financial process mappingsuch as general ledger,chart of accounts,accounts receivable/payable, and financial reporting
• Ensure the project is defined, designed, and configured effectively to best support the customer's needs
• Validate thatthe customer understands the specifications of the software, such as inclusions and exclusions
• Liaise with customers to define requirements,configurations, andspecifications for modifications to the softwareor integrations with external applications
• Assistthe development team with understanding of specifications during the development ofmodifications,and subsequentlytest and document developed changes
• Advise customers on financial best practices, ensuring compliance with accounting standards (GAAP), taxrules, and internal controls.
• Assistin the data migration ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) process from the legacy system tothe new ERP ensuring accuracy of open balances, historical transactions, andrelevant master data
• Deliverspecialized training in financial modules, as well as demonstrations to support pre-sale consultancy
• Resolve, orassistin the resolution of, customerquestions and issuesarising from the implementation andsubsequentlive operation of software at customer sites
• Complete all relevant project management documentation and help with standardization
• Collaborate closely withall internal and externalproject stakeholders to ensure a successful ERP implementation

The Candidate:

• Proven ERP Consulting background with a strong Finance focus
• Strong background handling Finance ERP implementations from an end to end perspective
• Strong understanding of financialstandards andcompliance.
• Experience within the Lumber and Building Materials industry is a significant advantage

• Strong technical aptitude and analytical skills.
• Strong communicationskills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, balancing several concurrent projects.
• Can present professionally at a senior level and ensure the presentations are focused on the customer's needs.
• Bachelor's degree or higher with a concentration in business or tech.
• CPA or financial certifications a plus.
