Posting Number 2016156T Department Summary The ERP Developer III is a member of the Ohio University ERP Development team. This is a senior position that works primarily in PeopleSoft Campus Solutions and with other third-party applications that integrate directly with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions. Responsibilities include creating complex customizations and extensions to ERP functionality. Designs and develops complex applications that update data in the ERP system based on complex criteria and functions. Very proficient in using delivered PeopleSoft Campus Solutions functionality to schedule processes, create communications, maintain and transform ERP data, and set security within PeopleSoft. Troubleshoots and resolves production issues. Competent to work on all phases of the ERP development cycle with minimal instruction and guidance. Position Profile Responsible for developing, troubleshooting, and designing modifications and upgrading cross-organizational enterprise systems software. Typical duties include coding, testing, documenting and implementing solutions to enterprise systems software, which includes developing patches and upgrades. Assists with troubleshooting of known issues, and in the daily support of University enterprise systems applications. Participates in user review, verification and testing sessions. Positions are centrally located and serve University-wide systems. Level Summary Manages and resolves complex and ambiguous issues. Works on both strategic and operational challenges, addressing problems that require advanced knowledge and experience. Often takes on leadership roles in projects or initiatives. Supervisory Responsibilities Provides mentorship and guidance to team. Infrequently has a limited number of direct reports. Fiscal Responsibilities May have budgetary responsibility for small-scale projects or initiatives. Problem Solving Solves complex problems, often with limited guidance. Independence of Action Works independently; seeks guidance for unusual situations. Communication and Collaboration Collaborates with team members and external departments. May represent the team in meetings with internal and external stakeholders. Physical Requirements This role is primarily desk-based and involves extensive use of desktop computers. Occasionally, the job may require travel to attend meetings and programs. Minimum Qualifications Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5 or more years of related professional experience, or equivalent education and experience. Preferred Qualifications Expertise in anyPeopleSoft Campus Solutions' module is welcome but experience with Financial Aid is preferred. Department Information and Technology Office Pay Rate The target salary range is $80,593 to $108,801 commensurate with the selected candidate's education and experience while considering internal equity.
