Job Title: Paraprofessional - Special Education (High-Needs Students) Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional to support students with higher needs in a special education setting. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of certified teachers and specialists to provide individualized academic, behavioral, and emotional support to students with significant learning, developmental, or physical disabilities. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans.
• Provide one-on-one or small group instruction and support.
• Monitor and support students' emotional and physical well-being throughout the school day.
• Help students with personal care tasks, mobility, and classroom transitions, as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and support staff to maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Document student progress and communicate observations to the educational team.

Qualifications:

• Requires an Associate's degree or successful completion of the Idaho Paraprofessional Exam
• Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs
• Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
• Must be willing to become CPI trained at the first available training after employed by the Twin Falls School District
