The Role :We are looking to hire a trader for our US Event Driven Strategies business. This will be an opportunity for a highly motivated individual with a genuine interest in event-driven investing. You will execute multiple client single stock orders and multi-leg spread orders, including with currency or derivative hedges. You will be based in New York, working within a global event-driven business and gaining an understanding of international equity markets within a flat team structure. You will interact closely with other key business lines at Clear Street, such as operations, securities finance, derivatives, swaps, and prime brokerage.
The Team :Clear Street's mission is to become a single-source platform serving various investor types across multiple asset classes globally. The U.K. team is expanding our established equities, options, and fixed-income prime brokerage business into a new market.
You will work in the Event Driven Strategies division, a global team with members ranging from 8 to over 25 years of experience in this niche asset class.
