About the Role

The Managing Director - ECM will be instrumental in expanding the firm's presence in equity capital markets. This role involves leading ECM transactions for mid-market companies and sponsors, and driving strategic growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute ECM transactions
  • Provide strategic advisory services to companies and financial sponsors.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to source new clients and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to shape the firm's ECM strategy.
  • Mentor junior professionals and foster a high-performance, collaborative team culture.
  • Stay current on industry trends, regulatory developments, and market dynamics.
  • Conduct market research and prepare financial analyses, valuations, and projections.
  • Oversee due diligence and financial modeling throughout the deal life-cycle.
  • Create and present marketing materials, pitch decks, and client presentations.

Qualifications

  • Experience in ECM transactions, ideally through investment banking, private equity, or capital markets.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Proven track record of transaction execution and deep understanding of the ECM product
  • Strong communication skills and commercial acumen.
  • Highly motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
