Equipment Yard Helper - Kern Steel Fabrication : Job Details

Keep a clean and tidy work area by ensuring tools, equipment and supplies, are organized and in good condition. Support service yard operations by helping Service Techs maintain and repair mud cooler equipment. Use tools and equipment including forklifts, various power tools, pressure washers, and hand tools. Maintain adherence to company policies, quality, safety, and environmental standards. Learn basic principles of pumping equipment, refrigeration equipment, and basic electrical, in order to support shop operations. Support vehicle maintenance program by driving service trucks to be serviced. Picks up emergency parts orders or other supplies as needed by the shop. Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment. Requirements Familiarity with hand and power tools 1 year of experience in an industrial or shop environment. Valid driver license; insurable according to company policy.
