Job Title: Epicor Master User - IT Department (Manufacturing)

Position Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Epicor Master User to join our IT department and support our growing manufacturing operations. This individual will be the go-to expert for all things Epicor ERP, working closely with production, inventory, planning, and finance teams to ensure seamless and efficient use of the system. You'll play a key role in driving process improvements, ensuring data integrity, and maximizing the value of our ERP investment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the Epicor ERP subject matter expert for all departments, especially Production, Job Management, Planning, Inventory Control, Quality, and Supply Chain.
- Partner with department leads to streamline workflows, reduce manual processes, and support continuous improvement using Epicor functionality.
- Create, manage, and optimize BAQs, BPMs, dashboards, and SSRS reports to support manufacturing KPIs and decision-making.
- Maintain accurate item master, BOM, routings, resource groups, and job scheduling processes.
- Support users with Epicor training, troubleshooting, documentation, and best practices.
- Lead or assist with Epicor module rollouts, system upgrades, and patch testing in coordination with IT.
- Monitor system performance and resolve ERP-related issues with minimal disruption to plant operations.
- Ensure data accuracy and support audits by developing validation tools and reports.
- Coordinate with Epicor support and consultants to resolve complex issues and deploy enhancements.
- Identify integration opportunities between Epicor and MES, barcoding, quality management, or other plant systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Epicor Kinetic or Epicor 10.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or ISO 9001 / quality systems.
- Understanding of barcoding, scanning, and plant floor automation tools.
- Experience integrating Epicor with MES or other third-party systems.
- Basic understanding of IT systems administration or networking.
Work Environment:
- Primarily on-site with regular interaction on the production floor.
- Occasional after-hours support during system upgrades or outages.
- May involve light travel to satellite facilities or training sessions.
