DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Trainer III directs, manages, plans and coordinates the operational and administrative activities of the Training section for IT and client personnel.Responsibilities
- Plans and administers training and orientation programs for end user personnel.
- Coordinates course development and/or procurement of outside training sources.
- Develop and maintain training environments.
- Develop processes for the successful delivery of training by multiple training analysts.
- Directs the scheduling of courses and coordination of enrollments.
- Evaluates effectiveness of training courses and sources of training.
- Prepares reports to management on training effectiveness.
- Responsible for maintenance of library of training material and index of training sources.
- Assigns staff to teaching assignments and directs their activities.
- Reviews, evaluates and prepares periodic performance reports of own staff.
- Prepares activity and progress reports regarding the activities of the Training section.
- Support end-users via on-site support, telephone, or pager coverage
- Work with application team through the entire life cycle of the implementation to become knowledgeable in decisions affecting use of the system and specific configuration for each implementation
- Assist as needed with design and build of the system
- Apply in depth system understanding to current issues and design challenges in order to develop alternative solutions with pro and con analysis
- Performs related duties as assigned or requested
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree
- Six years of experience in a training environment, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- PT Training Environment Build certification required
- Certified Principal Trainer in Ambulatory and/or ClinDoc preferred. Other Epic Clinical certifications would be considered (Clindoc, Willow, Ambulatory, ASAP, Stork, Radiant, Optime, Anesthesia and/or Beacon)
Compensation StatementThe Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for this role is $82,000.00 - $123,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need.
