Job Description At NorthBay Health, the Epic Bridges Developer supports and enhances our integration capabilities across clinical and business systems. This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing HL7 interfaces and other interoperability workflows using Epic Bridges, Interconnect, Ensemble, scripting, and related integration tools. Working with the team architect, application owners, clinical and business stakeholders the Epic Bridges Developer will manage the full lifecycle of interface application development including interface analysis, design, specification, validation/testing, implementation, go-live and support. Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in healthcare, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent (8 years) experience in healthcare IT field
  • Licensure/Certification: Current Epic Bridges certification is required and must be obtained within six (6) months of hire if not already certified at the time of employment. Project Management and Process certifications preferred (e.g., PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, SAFe,, ITIL, TOGAF, COBIT, Six Sigma).
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience with Epic Bridges development and HL7 interface configuration. Strong understanding of healthcare interoperability standards (e.g., HL7 v2/v3, FHIR, CCD/CDA, X12).
  • Skills: Familiarity with interface engines (e.g., Mirth Connect, Cloverleaf, Rhapsody, Ensemble). Proficiency in XML, JSON, Web Services, SFTP, and related integration technologies. Ability to troubleshoot interface issues using Epic tools, logs, and transaction data.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Hours of Work: Normally works eight-hour day. Hours will vary according to work demands and project requirements; may require on-call support.
  • Compensation: $62 to $81 based on years of experience doing the duties of the role.
