Job Description :

We are seeking an Epic Application Specialist to enhance and support our healthcare applications. In this role, you will play a crucial part in planning, designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing various information technology applications that are essential for our operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing technical support and resolving issues for healthcare applications, including electronic health records, scheduling, billing, and more.
  • Configuring, testing, and implementing complex systems, while documenting workflow changes and technical designs to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborating with external vendors to support third-party applications and troubleshoot integration challenges.
  • Managing small to mid-size projects, ensuring effective communication across teams to fulfill project objectives.
  • Participating in ongoing training development and providing knowledge-based materials to end-users and colleagues.
  • Assisting with the creation of testing plans to verify system outputs and ensure data integrity.
  • Engaging in command center activities and on-call responsibilities as necessary.

This role requires:

  • A strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Visio.
  • In-depth knowledge of system analysis and operational systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to interpret technical documents and industry regulations.
  • The ability to effectively communicate through writing and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in information technology, healthcare, business, or a related field is preferred; relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a related field, or active pursuit of a bachelor's degree with four years of relevant experience.
  • Commitment to obtaining and maintaining certification in one or more Epic applications.

You will be required to operate IT equipment and be capable of moving fingers and hands. Flexibility to remain seated or standing for extended periods is necessary.

This position is based at the Key Bank Tower, Nevada Central Office, Peaks Regional Office. Actual hours are scheduled for 40 per week.
