• Ensure compliance with system and application policies and procedures for the network.
• Review application and system plans, instructions, guidance, and standard operating procedures related to network system security.
• Participate in the Information System Assessment Process (SAR).
• Assess security requirements for hardware, software, and services acquisitions specific to network cybersecurity programs.
• Ensure cybersecurity-enabled software, hardware, and firmware comply with security configuration guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Test and validate security controls.
• Use eMass to review controls and review Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M) entries.
• Coordinate cybersecurity inspections, tests, and reviews for the network system.
• Review security safeguards to ensure identified concerns are addressed.
• Advise the AO, AODR, and system owners of risks or vulnerabilities.
• Prepare Security Assessment Reports.
• Provide risk assessments in accordance with NIST SP 800-30 for authorization and configuration changes.
• Participate in technical meetings with CDMs, ISSOs/lSSMs, and AODR.
• Develop security assessment reports documenting vulnerabilities, mitigations, and risk levels.
• Validate eMASS controls or coordinate re-testing.
• Perform automated and manual security testing.
• Support technical assessments of IT systems, including web applications, servers, access control, and databases.

• Education: MS or BS in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent.
• Certifications: GSLC, CISM, CISA, CASP, or CISSP required.
• Experience: 12-15 years with degree, including 5 years within the DoD; or 20 years of relevant work experience, including 8 years within the DoD.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Information Assurance/Cybersecurity.
