ENVIRONMENTAL SPECIALIST I - 64080202 - STATE OF FLORIDA : Job Details

This is specialized professional environmental work performing multiple programs including Well Delegation, Onsite Sewage Treatment and Disposal System (OSTDS), Well Surveillance Program, Limited-Use Water Systems, and surface water sampling. Duties require a thorough understanding of rules, laws, and techniques pertinent to related environmental concerns. This position works under the direction of an Environmental Supervisor II. Performs principle functions of the Onsite Sewage Treatment and Disposal System (OSTDS) program with the duties of reviewing, permitting, and inspecting the design, repair or modification of private and commercial onsite sewage treatment and disposal systems in accordance with Chapter 64 E-6, F. A. C. Duties also include reviewing, permitting, and inspecting Industrial Manufacturing Systems, Maintenance Entities, Septage Haulers, Pumper Trucks, and Septage Tank Manufacturers in accordance with Chapter 64 E-6, F.
