Eagle Crest Communities: Eagle Crest South I (La Crosse, WI)Maintenance AssistantCasual Call; Daytime/Weekday Shifts: This person will assist on an as needed basis.Eagle Crest Communities is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our facility maintenance team at our Eagle Crest South Campus in La Crosse. This person supports in the general upkeep of the facility and grounds. What You'll Do Assist with apartment turnover such as painting and carpet maintenancePreventive maintenance such as furnace filter changes, light bulb replacement, and water temp checksMaintenance services such as unclogging drains, plunging toilets, cable TV hook up, and other resident requestsMaintain required records, documentation, and reportsResponsible for storing deliveries, cleaning designated areas, and various other tasks as neededSurvey buildings and grounds and advise supervisor of any unclean or unsafe conditions, faulty equipment, or system problems What You'll Need Some knowledge and skills in maintenance, monitoring equipment, security devices beneficialBasic maintenance, electricity, heating, plumbing, and equipment such as vacuum cleaners, lawn equipment, and/or small hand tools preferredMust have a valid driver's license and maintain a safe driving recordHigh school diploma or equivalent Our Wages Starting wage is between $18.90 + per hour, based on qualifications and experienceWe'll review your wages at 6 months- we pay more for high performance!
