What You'll Do
Engineering Consulting Services (ECS) is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring that all tasks on a project, from proposal to final invoice payment, are completed either by the individual or by subordinates. The Senior Project Manager oversees the overall success of the project and acts as the main client contact. The ideal candidate demonstrates a positive customer service attitude and aligns with ECS Core Values.
Key Responsibilities
- Mentor junior staff and support team development
- Attend project meetings and resolve technical and administrative issues
- Market services and develop the client database
- Manage project budgets, prepare change orders, and oversee financial aspects
- Schedule, train, and supervise subordinate staff
- Prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines
- Oversee environmental projects, assist junior staff, and manage multiple projects
- Prepare and review proposals, change orders, and environmental reports
- Conduct peer reviews and lead client discussions on reports
- Collaborate on staffing decisions with other managers
- Manage assessments related to asbestos, lead-based paint, mold, and indoor air quality
- Review daily reports, perform site visits, and communicate project milestones
- Direct site activities and maintain communication with field staff and management
- Understand sample collection, preservation, and laboratory submission regulations
- Prepare reports for Principal review and lead client meetings
- Maintain knowledge of environmental regulations and guidelines
- Coordinate with subcontractors and manage multiple projects
- Perform other duties as assigned
What We're Looking ForQualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related fields
- 7+ years of Industrial Hygiene experience
- CIH certification preferred
Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of industrial health and safety, OSHA compliance, and indoor air quality
- Extensive understanding of environmental principles, regulations, and testing methods
- Ability to develop new clients and manage relationships
- Experience in delegating tasks and managing multiple projects independently
The expected pay range for this role and location is $80,000-$120,000/year, with final compensation based on location and qualifications.
