Environmental Risk Director - Eastern Bank : Job Details

The positions purpose is to support the commercial lending and business banking approval process/risk management function within Corporate Credit related to transactions secured by real estate. The overall objective of this position is to provide separate and independent Environmental risk management for the real estate due diligence process consistent with applicable regulatory and Eastern Bank policy. The Director will manage a team of environmental risk officers and is responsible for the leadership, vendor management and overall direction of the ESA report ordering and review functions. The incumbent possesses an in depth knowledge of Environmental due diligence and commercial real estate principles. They will formulate, recommend, and direct the implementation of both the strategy and policy of a high-volume department.
