Environmental Lead - Energy Vault : Job Details

We are currently searching for an experienced Environmental Lead to support our West Region located in Louisiana.

To be considered for this position, applicants must have, at minimum, a BS in Environmental related degree(s) or related fields, and 20+ years of experience in a combined public and private sector in managing projects and professional staff.

What you'll be doing:

• Manage current and prospective project contracts for Volkert's Louisiana Environmental and Design Group.
• Engage in business development efforts in Louisiana to secure additional contracts, maintain existing relationships, and establish new contacts, leading to profitability. Prepare responses to RFQ and RFP statements, proposals, letters of response, cost estimates, and scopes of services.
• Assist Volkert staff in performing due diligence before pursuing projects as a Prime or Subconsultant, ensuring successful wins. This includes meetings with client project managers and key executives, and vetting team partners.
• Conduct debriefings with clients to gather information for future successful wins.
• Manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, and timelines for environmental contracts as a Volkert Prime and Subconsultant to ensure profitability.
• Recruit, mentor, and manage environmental staff to maintain commitments on existing and future contracts, contributing to profitability and growth of the Louisiana Environmental Group.

What you need to have:

• Bachelor's degree in environmental-related fields.
• 20+ years of experience managing projects and professional staff in both public and private sectors.
• Knowledge of NEPA, Air, Noise, Ecology, and Cultural Resources.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Valid driver's license.
• Satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR).
