We are seeking a Environmental Health Sciences, Project Manager to manage client and stakeholder engagement and communications for programs within our Health Science Practice.A multidisciplinary group of 90+ science professionals, our Health Sciences Team provides toxicology, hazard assessment, epidemiology, risk assessment, exposure assessment, environmental modeling, and related support services that address the full spectrum of potentially hazardous agents, including chemicals and microbes. We specialize in identifying, quantifying, and documenting the effects of environmental pollutants, such as metals, pesticides, and volatile organic compounds, on human health and the environment.As a Project Manager, you will primarily support federal agencies (such as U.S. EPA and NIEHS) in managing meeting and workgroup activities related to assessing the human health impacts of pollutants. Specific activities will include managing and supporting science meetings and workgroups that aim to develop strategies, promote scientific exchange, and engage in communications with stakeholders. You will have the opportunity to identify and apply industry best practices and interact with experts and clients in the field, while using logistics knowledge and consulting skills. Additionally, you will lead the development of innovative, accurate, timely, and high-quality products and services, working on multiple projects with all levels of staff.This position can be REMOTE, although preference is for candidates to be located in Fairfax, VA, or Durham, NC.Key Responsibilities:+ Consulting frequently with clients to determine meeting and workgroup objectives and requirements and developing and maintaining effective work processes and procedures to deliver on client needs+ Coordinating internal and client meeting management, including note-taking, writing summaries, and tracking and ensuring completion of action items+ Conducting outreach and facilitation activities, such as identifying expert participants, facilitating discussions, and brainstorming effective approaches to generate consensus+ Planning and implementing virtual meetings and webinars (often using Zoom and Microsoft Teams)+ Developing high quality meeting materials, including agendas and participant guides, and ensuring their quality+ Managing speakers and advisory committees (e.g., creating/sharing speaker resources, organizing outreach and nomination processes)+ Prioritizing, monitoring, and coordinating report development activities including assisting with the preparation of deliverables for internal and external dissemination to key stakeholders, including QA/QC of documents and materials for formatting and accuracy+ Overseeing financial administration of meetings, including receiving and distributing correspondence, maintaining files, tracking invoices for payment, and tracking the billing process+ Mentoring and delegating to staff in the listed activities and skills+ Understanding and applying federal requirementsQualifications:+ Bachelor's Degree+ At least 5 years of project management experience, preferably with federal clients+ Experience executing meetings through webinar platforms (e.g., Zoom Meeting, Zoom Webinar, Microsoft Teams)+ Ability to take initiative, prioritize, multi-task, and work under strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment+ High level of organizational skills, accuracy, customer service, and professional courtesy+ High level of attention to detailProfessional Skills/Experience:+ Experience in a client-facing role, demonstrating expertise and confidence with client communication and problem solving+ Experience facilitating work groups and discussions and communicating objectives and results, in person or virtually, such as by leveraging advanced written and oral communication skills+ Ability to create work plans and budgets based on client needs, forecast project resources, and construct project timelines+ Expertise with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) with respect to implementing U.S. Government-sponsored meetings+ Experience implementing technical meetings in environmental sciences, toxicology, public health, or related fieldsPlease submit a cover letter along with your resume.#LI-CC1#IndeedWorking at ICFWorking at ICF means applying a passion for meaningful work with intellectual rigor to help solve the leading issues of our day.
