Must Have:

  • 3+ years of experience within construction safety
  • Data center construction safety experience
  • Experience working with a General Contractor
  • High voltage/medium voltage experience
  • JAJ risk assessment, P2P training, Incident investigation training

Plus:

  • Bilingual in Spanish

Day to Day:

Our client provides construction management services to numerous clients in a multitude of business sectors, throughout the United States. Our client has delivered successful construction projects in healthcare, higher education, laboratories, business offices, manufacturing, retail development, food processing and warehouse development. Construction activities are unlimited and require the Safety and Health Manager to have a broad range of technical and managerial expertise.

Successful candidates must demonstrate the following experience and/or capabilities:

  • Perform regular job site inspections to identify, document and recommend mitigation of hazardous/potentially hazardous conditions and verify correction actions s have been completed.
  • Perform incidents investigations to include interviews, data compilation, photographs and completing proper documentation.
  • Evaluate various planning/permits such as: Hot Work, Confined Space, Fall Protection, Excavation, Steel Erection, Energized Work, Pre-cast Tilt-Up as examples.
  • Industrial Hygiene principles and techniques involved in Hearing conservation, Lasers, Silica, Asbestos, Lead work, as examples.
  • Knowledge of fire protection requirements, flammable/combustible materials storage/management.
  • An in-depth knowledge of OSHA Regulations
  • The preceding experience and capabilities are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position. This is not a complete listing and other duties will be assigned based on the needs of the site and safety/field management varying by location, within the business unit.

Compensation:

$35/hr to $45/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
