Job Description :

Direct Wire & Cable is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead and support safety initiatives across our Lancaster and Denver, Pennsylvania facilities. This role is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, developing and delivering training programs, and managing risk in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

We are looking for a candidate with demonstrated experience in EHS leadership and a commitment to continuous improvement. While this is a management-level position, we will consider applicants with less experience who show strong potential for growth and leadership in the EHS field. Regular travel between sites is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain health and safety programs, policies, and procedures in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Lead employee training initiatives to ensure OSHA compliance and promote safety awareness across all levels of the organization
  • Chair and actively manage safety committee meetings to foster engagement and drive a proactive safety culture
  • Conduct regular audits, inspections, fire drills and exposure assessments to identify and mitigate workplace hazards
  • Analyze safety data, lead incident investigations, and manage injury records and workers' compensation cases
  • Maintain OSHA logs and ensure accurate regulatory documentation
  • Monitor changes in safety regulations and communicate relevant updates to leadership
  • Collaborate with HR and Operations to support return-to-work and injury management programs
  • Serves as ambassador for all safety practices throughout the organization

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and three plus years of progressive EHS experience
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification or in-progress required
  • OSHA 10 & OSHA 30 Training Certificates
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and employment laws
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
