About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated EHS Coordinator to join our team and lead efforts in maintaining a safe, compliant, and environmentally conscious workplace. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset to support safety and compliance across all departments.
This role plays a key part in reducing risk, preventing workplace incidents, and supporting our long-term sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and enforce health and safety policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards.
- Conduct safety training and educational sessions on emergency response, hazardous material handling, and workplace safety practices.
- Perform regular workplace inspections and audits to identify potential risks and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Investigate workplace incidents, prepare detailed reports, and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of safety trainings, incidents, inspections, and compliance audits.
- Monitor environmental and waste management compliance, ensuring alignment with federal and state regulations.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field (preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in an EHS-related role with knowledge of U.S. safety and environmental regulations.
- OSHA certification required; additional certifications such as CSP, ISO, or EHS preferred.
- Strong communication and training skills (verbal and written).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
- Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines.
- Preferred: Familiarity with Korean business culture and ability to communicate in Korean.
