Position Overview
The Project Manager role requires an experienced professional with a strong technical and project engineering background. This position manages the full lifecycle of custom-engineered projects, ensuring timely, budget-conscious, and high-quality delivery. Responsibilities include serving as the central point of contact for clients and internal teams, overseeing technical decision-making, and aligning engineering and manufacturing activities to meet project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage scope, schedule, and budget for custom-engineered projects.
- Oversee equipment selection, technical submittals, and engineering deliverables.
- Act as primary client contact, providing updates and resolving concerns.
- Coordinate activities across engineering, procurement, production, and quality assurance.
- Identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, and resolve technical issues.
- Monitor project budgets and resource allocation.
- Recommend and implement process improvements for efficiency.
- Maintain complete project documentation and conduct post-project analysis.
- Comfortable managing projects up to $500,000 – and ideally 4-5 projects at once
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, project management, or related field; PMP certification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of combined project management and project engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience in equipment selection, technical submittals, and cross-team engineering collaboration.
- Background in manufacturing, industrial equipment, or municipal projects.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with project management software (MS Project, Asana, or similar) and ERP systems.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of industrial air pollution control or odor control equipment and processes.
