This leadership position will design environmental compliance programs, liaison with third-party environmental consulting firms and regulators, and provide guidance and oversight for environmental projects.Essential Job DutiesProvide leadership and consultation regarding environmental laws and regulations in North America.Design environmental compliance programs, processes and procedures.Monitor the efficiency of environmental compliance programs, processes and procedures and recommend any changes.Maintain relationships with third-party environmental consulting firms and regulators.Provide guidance and oversight for environmental projects.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNot responsible for supervising employees.Minimum RequirementsEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.5+ years of related experience required.Preferred RequirementsMaster's Degree.Leadership experience managing environmental compliance and sustainability issues in the automotive and truck salvage, manufacturing, retail, and or large distribution operations.Certified Environmental Professional or similar designationKnowledge/Skills/AbilitiesAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret graphs.Frequent use of Outlook, Word, Excel, graphics, etc.Regularly uses moderately complex oral and written skills.
