Environmental Compliance ManagerAs the Environmental Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for adhering to and enforcing adherence to all policies and procedures related to environmental compliance, including audits, evaluations, inspections, and making corrective action recommendations. Essential functions and requirements include:
Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a science-related discipline (required). Certified to perform HAZWOPER training (preferred). Experience: 7+ years of experience in an environmental health role in a chemical-based manufacturing or waste treatment organization (required). Previous experience in an industrial environment that handles explosive materials (preferred). Competencies: Thorough knowledge and understanding of all federal, state, and local laws and regulations pertaining to the environmental services industry. Strong ability and experience in writing permits for hazardous waste disposal. Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders. Organizational skills to successfully manage multiple priorities at a time. Strong computer application skills, including Microsoft Office Suite programs. Regular and predictable attendance to perform the functions and requirements of this role.
