Environmental Aide I - FT (7:00am-3:00pm) MMC - Atlantic Health System : Job Details

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full-Time Environmental Aide I (Housekeeping) for the Environmental Services Department at Morristown Medical Center. Required hours are 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, including every other weekend. Starting rate $18.50/hr. Essential Functions/ Responsibilities: Utilizes appropriate cleaning equipment in cleaning all nursing units, patients' rooms and all other designated facility areas, including the floors, woodwork, sills, vents, sinks, furniture etc. Follows the department's policies and procedures on cleaning, disinfecting and deodorization. Cleans up major spills when necessary and responds to pages in a timely manner. Cleans and restocks housekeeping carts at the end of each shift. Removes all trash and linen within the hospital. Follows directions carefully for cleaning solution preparations and handling of bio-hazard materials. Makes periodic checks for environmental needs in the assigned area.
