We're seeking an experienced EHS Manager to lead and evolve our safety and environmental practices at our Reidsville, NC manufacturing facility. Job Title: Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager
Job Location: Reidsville, NC
Job Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Salary: $95,000-115,000/annual
Schedule: Monday–Friday with availability for overtime, extended shifts or variating, and occasional weekend or holiday work
Key Responsibilities
- Champion a culture of safety, health, and environmental awareness across the site.
- Provide expert leadership on programs including machine guarding, LOTO, confined spaces, hazardous materials, electrical safety, and more.
- Oversee site compliance with all OSHA, EPA, ISO, and internal safety standards and policies.
- Lead incident investigations and track injury rates and Workers' Compensation claims.
- Conduct safety training sessions or manage third-party training as required.
- Oversee environmental testing, emergency preparedness, and disaster recovery planning.
- Manage PPE and janitorial supply inventories, distribution, and documentation.
- Maintain and communicate all safety-related materials, boards, and digital records.
- Lead site audits and inspections, and act as the liaison for all local, state, and federal environmental and safety agencies.
- Manage the safety and environmental budget in collaboration with leadership.
- Support the implementation of safety SOPs and risk mitigation protocols across all teams.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 7–10 years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing setting.
- OSHA training and certifications required; familiarity with ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, and ISO 9001 preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong working knowledge of environmental regulations and safety compliance.
- Leadership and team development abilities, with strong communication and influence.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with precision and accountability.
- Effective at conflict resolution, change leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.
Physical & Travel Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, climb, kneel, and lift up to 40 lbs as needed.
- Some domestic and occasional international travel required.
