Position: Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager
Location: Broward County, South Florida

Compensation: $90,000 – $110,000 annually
Overview:
SAVI EHS is seeking skilled and credentialed EHS Managers to oversee large-scale concrete and shell construction projects across South Florida. This is an excellent opportunity for safety professionals who excel in high-paced environments and have a strong background in concrete operations. You'll play a key role in driving compliance, promoting a safety-first culture, and leading proactive risk mitigation efforts on job sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all EHS compliance initiatives on active concrete/shell construction sites
- Conduct and document daily inspections with emphasis on formwork, shoring, rebar, lifts, and concrete placement
- Facilitate customized safety orientations and lead engaging toolbox talks
- Oversee crane operations and material handling safety efforts
- Lead Daily Hazard Analysis (DHA) meetings with a focus on high-risk concrete activities
- Investigate incidents and near misses, identify root causes, and implement corrective measures
- Partner with field supervision to promote and maintain a zero-injury culture
- Track and analyze safety data to identify trends and drive improvement strategies
- Ensure subcontractors are compliant with safety plans and employee training
- Confirm worker qualifications for high-risk concrete work and elevated tasks
- Collaborate with trade safety professionals to align sitewide safety initiatives
- Deliver job-specific safety training modules (formwork safety, rigging, fall protection, etc.)
- Contribute to the development and execution of a safety recognition and incentive program
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of EHS experience in concrete and shell construction
- Strong knowledge of formwork, excavation, elevated work, shoring, and fall protection standards
- OSHA 510 or OSHA 500 required
- Professional credentials such as CSP, CHST, STSC, GSP, or ASP strongly preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and daily safety documentation
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Safety, Construction Management, or a related field
