As a HSE Manager here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the organization's health, safety, and environmental engineering efforts. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of health and safety for employees, compliance with environmental regulations, and the implementation of best practices in engineering-related safety.
You will report directly to our Sr HSEF Manager and you'll work out of our Minneapolis, MN
location on an on-site work schedule.
In this role, you will impact our organization by overseeing the development and implementation of health, safety, and environmental programs that ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders will ensure that HSE considerations are integrated into business processes and decision-making, contributing to the overall success and reputation of our business as a responsible and sustainable organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist in developing and implementing HSE strategies that align with the organization's mission, ensuring a culture of safety, health, and environmental responsibility.
• Lead and manage a team of HSE professionals, including engineers, specialists, and support staff, ensuring efficient and effective HSE engineering practices.
• Ensure that the organization complies with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, permits, and certifications.
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.
The annual base salary range for this position is $115K - $1145K. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Qualifications for Internal Candidates
YOU MUST HAVE
• 3+ years of experience in HSE engineering
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.
• Proficiency in budget management and financial acumen.
