Entry Level Scientist 1 - Mass Spectrometry - Pace Analytical : Job Details

Facilitate and support the analysis, administration and oversight of air, water and soil samples using standard chemistry/ biochemistry policies, programs, and practices Analyze samples using Mass Spectrometry instrumentation. Methods include but not limited to: 625/8270, SIM (Selective Ion Monitoring). Clean, maintain and calibrate instruments Maintain detailed and organized documentation on all laboratory work Prepare standards used for analysis What you'll bring Bachelor's degree in Chemistry/ Biochemistry or a closely related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience 0-2 years of experience in a laboratory setting preferred Must have chemistry credit hours from an accredited university/college Knowledge/experience with Mass Spectrometry preferred Ability to perform work in a lab or office setting, remain standing for long periods while conducting tests, work around strong smells, and wear personal protective equipment while handling samples (e.g., la...Spectrometry, Scientist, Entry Level, Chemistry, Technology
