This is What You'll Do:

  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations (e.g., FDA approved Standard Operating Procedures, OSHA, CLIA, and GMP) to maintain high production standards.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and a positive donor experience aligned with our company values.
  • Maintain cleanliness and professionalism in your work area.
  • Review and confirm donor identification while ensuring confidentiality.
  • Prepare equipment and supplies for venipuncture and plasmapheresis procedures.
  • Label units and samples accurately and execute venipunctures and plasma collections safely.
  • Operate automated plasmapheresis machines, including monitoring alarms and donor conditions.
  • Ensure donor safety and the quality of plasma product throughout the donation process.
  • Handle biohazardous waste disposal and maintain safety protocols.
  • Perform routine maintenance on automated machines and report any unsafe conditions to management.
  • Maintain adequate inventory of supplies and assist in training new team members.
  • Complete other job-related tasks as assigned.

This is What It Takes:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
  • Any specific certification or licensing according to State requirements.
  • A minimum of three (3) months' experience in a medical or healthcare environment is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to understand and follow protocols.
  • Basic computer knowledge and strong documentation skills.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including daytime, evening shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proven ability to perform venipunctures.
