Key Responsibilities:
- Prioritize Health and Safety by adhering to policies and procedures.
- Engage in strenuous physical labor, including lifting and pulling heavy objects.
- Operate light and heavy equipment and utilize various hand and powered industrial tools.
- Wear and effectively use required personal protective equipment (PPE) in diverse combinations.
- Work in varied outdoor and indoor temperatures and weather conditions.
- Handle situations with potential exposure to hazardous materials safely.
- Work in elevated noise levels and confined spaces while adhering to safety protocols.
- Conduct field sampling activities and calibrate measurement equipment.
- Safely load and unload hazardous and non-hazardous waste and inspect containers for compliance.
- Attend compliance and safety meetings and respond to emergency situations as needed.
- Follow all local, state, and federal regulations for both environmental health and safety.
- Be on call for emergency response on a rotating basis.
Qualifications:
- Reliable transportation is essential.
- Ability to perform all physical job requirements.
- A commitment to being on call for emergency response is required, which may occasionally include working weekends and holidays.
- Must pass background checks, drug tests, and physical assessments.
- Meet facial hair standards for respiratory protection as per OSHA regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid Driver's license.
- Previous experience in a relevant labor position.
