Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct truck collision repairs and maintenance, including cab/sheet metal repair, fiberglass repair, welding, frame straightening, suspension repair, and more.
  • Determine parts needed for the repair process.
  • Document all warrantable repairs accurately.
  • Keep work areas safe, clean, and organized.
  • Road test vehicles when needed.
  • Work independently with efficiency and minimal supervision.
  • Engage in additional tasks assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years of practical experience or equivalent education.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; vocational/technical school preferred.
  • Specialized training in truck and trailer repair/refinish is essential.
  • Proficiency in using all necessary tools, including welding and paint equipment.
  • Must hold a valid driver's license and have basic computer skills.
  • Commitment to safety standards and policies, including DOT and OSHA compliance.
  • Attendance is crucial for success in this role.
  • Willingness to travel and complete a background check and drug screening is required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent movement, standing, walking, climbing, bending, and sitting for extended periods is required.
  • Using hands for a variety of tools and controls on a daily basis is necessary.
  • Ability to work safely at heights and in various weather conditions is required.
  • Must be capable of lifting and/or moving up to 50lbs regularly and 100lbs occasionally.
