Donohue & Associates is seeking an Entry-Level Architect to join our growing multidisciplinary engineering firm. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to work alongside experienced engineers and project managers on water and wastewater infrastructure projects. You will gain valuable hands-on experience contributing to architectural design, modeling, and project coordination using industry-standard software. Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing architectural designs and technical drawings under the guidance of senior staff.
- Support design teams in creating and updating Revit models and AutoCAD drawings.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure design accuracy and consistency.
- Help maintain project documentation, schedules, and design standards.
- Participate in internal project meetings and learn about various aspects of architectural and engineering coordination.
- Stay informed about relevant codes, materials, and technologies related to architectural design.
- Occasionally visit job sites to observe project progress and gain field experience.
- Support proposal preparation and general design tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field (required or in progress with expected graduation soon).
- Internship or co-op experience in a design or consulting environment (preferred but not required).
- Familiarity with Revit and AutoCAD; coursework or projects using these tools is acceptable.
- Basic understanding of building codes and design principles.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Eagerness to learn and collaborate in a multidisciplinary team environment.
