The Enterprise Clinical Data Strategy and Procurement Consultant role demands proven knowledge of clinical data types, data sources, and use cases. In this role, you will apply your expertise and experience to collaborate with internal business partners and stakeholders, and coordinate with technical, procurement and analytics teams to ensure and support the achievement of shared business goals related to clinical data strategies and initiatives, including vendor invoice management and reporting. By fostering strong partnerships and collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will help to reduce organizational costs by shifting from manual to digital data acquisition and data reuse, achieve desired health outcomes by utilizing richer clinical data, and provide access to the right clinical data at the right place at the right time. You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with business units across the company to understand their clinical data needs and translate the needs into necessary procurement and implementation activities
  • Understand the use cases for clinical data and how to leverage digital clinical data to drive the success of those use cases
  • Conduct analysis of clinical data sources to understand the opportunity for business units and use cases
  • Track and report project status, project issues and project plans on a timely basis
  • Stay informed about emerging trends in clinical data management and leverage knowledge to enhance data strategies
  • Manage vendor invoice process for our team, including tracking and storing in a secure location
  • Work closely with Vendor Managers, Procurement and Business partners on issue resolution of vendor invoices/discrepancies
  • Assist with creation and complete on of key team reports
Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience in healthcare, business development, strategy / innovation
  • 3+ years of demonstrated expertise with Health Information Exchange (HIE) vendors, Electronic Medical Record (EMR) vendors, and clinical data aggregators working on electronic exchange of clinical data
  • 2+ years of demonstrated customer relationship management experience
  • Experience with invoice management (invoice entry, approvals, reconciliation, reporting, etc.)
  • Experience in healthcare analytics and reporting, including familiarity with data analytics tools and methodologies
  • Working knowledge of clinical data standards and data interoperability principles
  • Solid understanding of data governance frameworks and data privacy regulations
  • Proven ability to utilize project/program management functions and methodologies
  • Proven ability to negotiate and collaborate across a diverse group of customers with varying degrees of technical and functional knowledge of clinical data
  • Proven exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, diverse projects/events simultaneously
  • Up to 10% travel required for business purposes including department, program, partner, and other internal meetings
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience partnering with leaders developing solid business partnerships and relationships
  • Intermediate level of experience with Microsoft Suite - PPT, Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook
  • Proven effective and proven analytical skills and business acumen
  • Proven ability to work in a fast paced, highly matrixed environment
  • Demonstrate continuous learning, understanding complex business strategies, and recommending appropriate solutions

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $89,900 to $160,600 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
