We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Enterprise Architect to lead the design and implementation of complex systems within the Credit Card Loyalty domain. The ideal candidate will possess a strong Java implementation background, extensive experience in large-scale architecture projects, and a solid understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD). Collaborate closely with client enterprise architects and delivery teams to translate strategic visions into scalable, robust solutions.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Phoenix, AZ / Irving, TX is $150k - $160k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the client's enterprise architect to understand business needs and craft comprehensive system architectures tailored for the Credit Card Loyalty domain.
• Lead the design process, applying Domain-Driven Design principles to identify bounded contexts, aggregates, and domain models.
• Provide expert guidance on breaking down the domain into manageable components that align with business objectives.
• Work closely with the client's Delivery Director to oversee the implementation phase, coordinating efforts of approximately 20+ Java developers.
• Ensure that the solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise standards.
• Drive large design initiatives, ensuring quality, performance, and security considerations are integrated into the architecture.
• Bring innovative thinking, especially in the application of Gen AI technologies, to enhance business processes and customer engagement.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends and incorporate best practices into architectural decisions.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect
• Strong Java development background with extensive experience in designing and implementing large-scale systems.
• Deep understanding and practical application of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) concepts.
• Extensive experience with large-scale system design and implementation in complex domains such as credit card loyalty programs.
• Hands-on experience or familiarity with Generative AI and its application in enterprise solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, especially in large development initiatives.
