Ecolab is looking for an experienced principal architect to be part of a dynamic Supply Chain and Manufacturing team that's at the forefront of technological innovation. What You Will Do:

  • Define systems strategy and capability roadmaps aligned with Supply Chain business strategy.
  • Collaborate with peer architects to design and implement process and technology solutions with a focus on Supply Chain manufacturing.
  • Guide and develop roadmaps with “Future of Work” adopting Industry 4.0.
  • Lead and govern enterprise architecture in manufacturing defining use cases, system flows, hardware, platform and software architecture that meets performance, scalability, and security requirements
  • Lead the evaluation and selection of technologies and services that align with business requirements
  • Develop and maintain architecture standards and best practices
  • Collaborate across global enterprise architecture and platform architecture teams to gather technical requirements and provide architectural guidance
  • Drive the implementation of data governance, compliance, and security measures within multi-cloud environment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate vision systems with hardware and software platforms, ensuring high performance and reliability
  • Conduct research on state-of-the-art recognition techniques and stay current with industry trends

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 10 years of experience in cloud architecture, with a focus on Supply chain manufacturing, MES, process manufacturing control tools, SCADA systems and security
  • 2 years of experience designing and implementing complex shop floor solutions like AVEVA-PI, Plant Maintenance, Document Management, Quality management systems in a large-scale environment
  • 1 year of experience of cloud platforms and edge services in providers such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
  • 4 years of data architecture principles, data management, and cloud-based data services and experience with best practices with cloud security, including network segmentation, identity management, encryption, and access control
  • Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with Industry 4.0, Smart Plant and MES technologies.
  • Proven track record of defining and deploying AI/ML, Data Analytics in Integrated process & discrete manufacturing environments
  • Interest in collaborating with partners outside of core team / organization including 3rd party software and hardware providers
  • Ability to wear multiple hats and plug into different roles as trusted advisor to business
  • Openness to experimental approaches typical of tech start-ups

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The base salary range for this position is $161,800.00 - $242,800.00. This position is eligible for annual bonus pay based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
