We are working exclusively with our client to find an Enterprise Account Executive for their New York office.
About:
Our client is a specialist in enterprise data automation, working with large-scale financial services organizations to enhance operational efficiency. Their platform enables seamless ingestion, transformation, and routing of data from diverse sources, helping reduce manual processes and operational risk.
With strong use cases in functions such as regulatory reporting, reconciliations, and post-transaction processing, they offer solutions designed for high-impact, mission-critical environments. Their technology also supports clients in modernizing outdated systems by adopting more scalable, cloud-native infrastructure.
Following a highly successful and proven sales motion in the North America and Canada market, they're now looking for an Enterprise Account Executive to join their new business efforts.
Key Highlights:
- 250 headcount and £50m ARR - they're a relatively lean and highly profitable organisation.
- Already working with notable customers such as HSBC, US Bank, Zurich and BNY Mellon.
- Enormous growth over the last 3 years.
- Clearly defined suite of 5 solutions with their own value propositions. This means you have multiple entry points into each target account and potential for cross-sells.
- Proven ROI where automation reduces time spent on manual processes from 20 minutes to 1 minute, resulting in significant cost savings for clients.
- Working exclusively with a target list of 70+ accounts across tier 1 and 2 financial institutions across the US and Canada.
- Established customer-facing team of 25 in their New York office with roles ranging from pre-sales, business development, account management and customer success.
- Wider team support to close new business. For example, you will work with an incoming marketing team to form an ABM strategy and an SDR for direct outreach.
- Current team in the US achieving over 100% of their targets - realistic OTE.
- Working directly with the Head of New Business and Head of Account Management to further develop the enterprise sales motion.
- $150k - $180k base x 2 OTE, hybrid (2 days per week in their mid-town office) and wider benefits to be discussed.
The Role:
- Closing 6 figures deals with sell-side, large enterprise financial institutions across North America and Canada.
- Prospecting activities to build the pipeline through outbound, including market research, mapping, phone calls, LinkedIn emails.
- Attending worldwide events to drive familiarity and build networks int the industry.
- Strategising with marketing and SDR on how to penetrate your target list of 70+ accounts.
- Running the full sales process from discovery to close using a known sales framework such as MEDDICC or Challenger. This will include in-person, on-site meetings with prospective customers.
- Coordinating and working in tandem with your pre-sales team, who will be delivering value-centric demos driven by your guidance.
- Working closely with partners to develop long-term relationships that yield referrals to new clients.
- Project managing your pre-sales and account management teams to ensure a smooth sales process.
- Consistently hitting and achieving targets set by the senior leadership team.
- Collaborating closely with the broader team to contribute insights that will further develop the GTM function in the region.
- Keeping records in the CRM up to date and accurate - reporting is important to the client so they can get the insight required to further develop the sales function. This will also help with accurate forecasting and developing an understanding of where new resources should be deployed.
Requirements:
- At least 4 years of experience selling complex solutions to senior stakeholders with a six-figure ACV. Bonus if you have sold into financial services.
- Willingness to travel to meet clients in person and attend events.
- Are able and willing to generate your own pipeline by developing a clear strategy for penetration into target accounts.
- Passionate about what you do and have a can-do attitude - you will have to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in.
- Good written and verbal communication is essential; you will be liaising with top executives.
- Are professionally trained in known sales frameworks such as MEDDICC or Challenger.
- Based within a commutable distance to Mid-Town New York, the role requires 2 days per week in the office.
