Job ResponsibilitiesYork Technical College, a member of the South Carolina Technical and Comprehensive Education System, is a public, two-year institution of higher education that offers a variety of associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates. Through maximizing student success, the College seeks to contribute to the economic growth and development of York, Lancaster, and Chester counties and of the State. The Enrollment Services Counselor performs the following functions:Monitor assigned recruitment territory and use CRM and SIS tools to track and achieve enrollment goals.Develop and maintain prospective student pipelines by implementing communication workflows including emails, calls, and text messages in coordination with the Enrollment Communications team.Collaborate with internal offices-such as Financial Aid, Academic Divisions, and the Registrar-to facilitate smooth transitions from inquiry to enrollment.Utilize enrollment metrics and data reports to monitor progress and maintain conversion goals at each stage of the enrollment funnel.Organize, promote, and facilitate prospective student events, campus tours, and information sessions.Support new student registration processes, including understanding placement, course scheduling, and advising resources.Represent York Technical College at high schools, businesses, industry fairs, and community organizations to promote the College's programs and services.Participate actively in campus-wide activities and committees that advance student recruitment, retention, and overall student success. Minimum and Additional Requirements Bachelor's degreeAt least two years of recent experience in college admissions, admissions outreach, or student recruiting Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated knowledge of student information systems (Ellucian Colleague) and CRM platforms (Ellucian Recruit) strongly preferred.Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations of students, families, staff, and community stakeholders.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and excellent keyboarding and data-entry skills.Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to plan and execute student recruitment activities and events.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.Flexibility, initiative, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and addressing student needs.Ability to maintain positive working relationships with faculty, staff, students, and community partners.Willingness and ability to travel throughout the tri-county service area and work occasional evenings and weekends, as required.
