Vice President, Systems Engineering with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in Draper, Utah. Apply expertise across all Engineering domains, including datacenter design, networks, storage, grid compute, operating systems, databases, communications, market data, and software languages. Oversee the design and build-out of the firm's computer and data infrastructure, including internal hardware identification and implementation of public and private cloud solutions to enable seamless on-demand scaling. Develop automated testing processes, standards, solutions, and tools to ensure smooth operations. Leverage data mining and machine learning to identify and resolve infrastructure and platform issues. Track application health and performance, manage risk and costs, and oversee change management processes. Improve system stability and performance through automation and performance tuning. Manage production incidents, communicate with stakeholders, and develop contingency plans for business continuity and disaster recovery.

Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, or related field, with three (3) years of experience in a Systems Engineering role, OR Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in the same fields, with five (5) years of experience. Required skills include performance tuning, troubleshooting, software development, database design and support, SDLC experience, SQL performance analysis, and systems management for Windows platforms.
