Overview:
Seeking an experienced Engineering Technician to maintain and support manufacturing equipment and facilities. This role requires hands-on equipment build experience, the ability to read AutoCAD drawings, and knowledge of local safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical/electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment upgrades.
- Supervise contractors and coordinate assemblies.
- Execute equipment startups, calibrations, and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
- Lead FMEAs and use Root Cause Analysis for problem solving.
- Train and mentor maintenance staff.
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years' experience in mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering, or related degree.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, PLCs, and facility infrastructure (boilers, compressors, etc.).
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, safety codes, and MS Office.
- Lean manufacturing experience is a plus.
