Job Summary:

The Full Stack Engineering Team Lead will lead a team responsible for developing cloud-based web applications for the Investor Experience Services organization of LPL Financial. This role involves all phases of development including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and production support. The ideal candidate will learn quickly, work independently, and possess strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead research, design, and development of enterprise services on AWS Landing Zone (ALZ) using IaC/IaaS/PaaS solutions including EC2, S3, ECS, EKS, ELB, RDS, R53, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS.
  • Build IaC solutions following DevSecOps best practices using tools like Git, CloudFormation, Ansible, and Terraform.
  • Create scalable and resilient solutions with proper instrumentation for observability.
  • Manage a team of developers, review code, and ensure high-quality standards.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos.
  • Ensure site reliability engineering (SRE) activities to build highly available and scalable solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to application functionality or performance.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and advocate for their use.
  • Technology stack includes Angular, .Net Core 6, C#, AWS Cloud, REST API, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Tableau, ELK, Confluent Kafka.
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent; Master's preferred.
  • 7+ years of software development experience, including leadership roles.
  • 2+ years of experience with AWS, understanding AWS Well-Architected Framework, Landing Zone, and DevSecOps.
  • 5+ years of senior developer experience designing complex systems.
  • 3+ years of full-stack development experience in Angular, web services, and API integration.
  • Extensive web/service development experience with .NET, C#, SQL Server, Node.js, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
  • Experience with Swift UI and Kotlin is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and locations.
  • Financial industry experience is a plus but not required.
  • Pay Range: $140,475 - $234,125/year
