Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in managing multiple concurrent engineering projects and aligning resources to meet objectives.
  • Prioritizing tasks and assigning team members based on project scope and team strengths.
  • Evaluating and approving significant changes to project scope, budgets, or timelines.
  • Leading project execution and monitoring progress, identifying risks, and resolving operational issues to avoid delays.
  • Managing relationships with external contractors to ensure deliverables meet internal standards.
  • Coordinating engineering activities to support technology upgrades and manufacturing site expansion.
  • Handling equipment retrofits, setting and controlling project budgets, timelines, and communication plans.
  • Leading validation activities for equipment and developing technology integration with the support of engineering teams.
  • Communicating project updates to stakeholders and ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Documenting key milestones, risks, and mitigation strategies for cross-functional visibility.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field required.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of engineering project management experience.
  • Proven ability in managing manufacturing, equipment validation, or technology integration projects.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Experience working with external contractors and internal engineering teams.
  • Experience in medical device, biotech, or regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with LEAN manufacturing, Six Sigma, or validation protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ).
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, JIRA).
