Dragonfly is a crypto-native Venture Capital and research firm with $2B+ in assets under management and 160+ portfolio companies (see list). Our Talent team works to support the recruiting efforts of the companies within our portfolio by connecting them with talented potential candidates.We're currently hiring engineering leaders for fast-moving teams building critical infrastructure and high-volume crypto-native applications.This is not a listing for an internal role at Dragonfly.What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of backend engineering experience, including time as a team lead, manager, or technical co-founder
• A proven track record shipping meaningful crypto products: protocols, infra, exchanges, wallets, or high-volume consumer apps
• Strong systems design skills and deep experience with distributed systems and microservice architectures
• Ability to lead in fast-moving environments where systems are scaling rapidly and priorities shift quickly
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across engineering, product, and business teams

About The RolesWe're hiring across multiple portfolio companies, including:

• An infrastructure platform powering smart contract wallets, prime brokerage, and OTC trading - live with $15B+ in transaction volume across 12 EVM chains. You'll lead backend architecture and scale integrations across protocols and execution systems.
• A rapidly growing crypto-native product with early volume and engagement at unusual scale. You'll lead engineering strategy, stabilize critical systems, and help the team scale infrastructure to meet demand while building toward long-term technical maturity.

These roles are ideal for engineers who have thrived in chaotic environments, can move quickly without compromising quality, and enjoy taking ownership of complex technical problems from architecture to execution. We prefer candidates who can work in an office or hybrid setting in New York.Other Roles We're Hiring ForIf this role isn't the right fit, we're also hiring across protocol, infra, and product engineering roles, especially for crypto-native engineers who want to lead from the front.
