- Lead and grow a team of software engineers focused on deploying conversational AI agents that serve millions of end-users.
- Drive product development for core agent software features, delivering high-performance, scalable solutions in real-time environments.
- Collaborate directly with customers to understand requirements, build solutions, and deploy enterprise-grade AI products.
- Partner cross-functionally with research, product, and other engineering teams to drive the roadmap forward.
- Foster a culture of technical excellence, ownership, and iterative improvement.
- Champion mentorship, professional growth, and inclusivity across the team.
- Occasionally travel to the San Francisco HQ, especially during onboarding or company-wide initiatives.
Ideal Candidate Background
- 1+ years of experience leading high-performing software engineering teams.
- 5+ years of hands-on software development experience.
- Strong technical foundation in backend or full-stack engineering - experience with TypeScript and Python is highly preferred.
- Prior experience at top-tier technology companies or fast-scaling startups.
- Proven ability to coach engineers, manage performance, and support career development.
- Comfortable in fast-paced, ambiguous startup environments and excited to build in a new office.
Preferred
- Experience working with AI/ML products or in the customer support technology space.
- Background in enterprise SaaS or platform engineering.
- Familiarity with real-time systems and high-concurrency applications.
- Exposure to building multi-tenant or enterprise-grade software systems.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base Salary: $300,000 - $375,000
