Base pay range

$85,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

(Onsite in Washington State-Relo provided)OverviewThe Engineering Line Lead provides strategic and operational leadership for the engineering department on line-specific projects. This role ensures timely and compliant execution of contract projects, equipment functionality, compliance support, and capital expenditures. The position also ensures that projects are delivered in accordance with applicable project management systems and capital budget schedules, while meeting state, local, federal, and industry-specific regulations. All work must align with Good Engineering Practices (GEPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and oversight to the engineering team within the Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO) Business Unit.
• Drive technical improvements and lead response initiatives to equipment and facility observations.
• Manage assigned capital project schedules and budgets.
• Assign and oversee a variety of engineering projects, including internal capital investments, compliance initiatives, and contract manufacturing assignments.
• Coordinate engineering resources and ensure appropriate staffing for ongoing and future projects.
• Maintain equipment and infrastructure compliance with local, state, federal, and international regulatory requirements.
• Lead high-level project execution from concept to implementation in alignment with executive objectives.
• Implement facility and equipment upgrades to support company growth and operational efficiency.
• Support client audits and host technical site visits.
• Communicate project statuses, constraints, and issues to senior management effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or FDA-regulated industry.
• Proven background in facility engineering.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, and SAP.
