Engineer Trainee - Hilton Chicago - Hilton Hotels : Job Details

An Engineer Trainee assists Operation Engineers in the hotel and trains with Operation Engineers/trade mechanics to learn to maintain the physical functionality of the facility including guest rooms, public space and heart-of-the-house areas. Specifically, the Engineer Trainee:Learns how to inspect guestrooms, public space and back of the house for areas to repair, touch up or replace. Performs a variety of repair and maintenance and cleaning tasks including HVAC and masonry. Inspects guestrooms, public space and heart-of-the-house for needed and preventive maintenance. Maintains detailed record-keeping of all work orders and completed assignments. Assists other department team members in the systematic application of the preventive maintenance program.
