Engineer Specialist - FedEx : Job Details

This role is responsible for implementing manpower and systems projects to reduce operating expenses, increase revenues, and improve customer service. Essential Functions Ensures that operating plans comply with safety and legal standards. Participates in special staff support projects. Prepares management information systems to aid in the control and development of district, region, and corporate goals. Involves maintaining communication between operations and corporate departments. Provides technical expertise relating to facility requests, including lease termination, new location, five-year planning, equipment justification, layout, vehicle planning, and cost justification. Monitors productivity, service, and cost performance in all areas of operations and assist in implementing required changes. Provides technical training to field personnel in various areas such as operations, manning, MIS, contingency planning, productivity, cost-effectiveness, and manpower scheduling.
